Without the adequate amount of prep- work you can count on repainting your home sooner. Half the time we spend working on your home is in preparing it to be painted, through scraping, priming, and caulking.
Priming:
Priming is an essential step in the painting process. It is used to adhere paint to bare wood and any other surface you apply it to. Priming gives your house the strength and protection to produce a more durable finish. Primer is also used to seal and eliminate stains from a multitude of causes.
Caulking:
Caulking a house properly can not only save you money but make your home look great. Caulking provides a moisture barrier and seals water away from areas which could be damaged by water. Caulking properly also helps reduce air leaks, which helps the efficiency of your heating and cooling system.
Sanding:

Premium Package:
The premium package is the highest quality standard package we offer. This package is used to bring out the best in your home’s potential. This will help set your home apart from all others. This package allows for the smoothest, most durable, longest lasting paint job we provide. Sanding is used on all the surfaces to promote adhesion. After the initial prep-work, all the surfaces to be painted get primed. The next step includes a 5-step prep process to insure the best result. This package includes priming and 2 coats of paint on all surfaces to be painted.
Choice Package:
The choice package is our most common package. This package is used to enhance, rejuvenate, and bring out the beauty in your home. In this package we patch nail holes and caulk cracks that standout visually. Primer is only used on as needed bases. All the trim and widows get caulked. All the surfaces to be painted get sanded, not only for adhesion purposes but to give a smoother surface. Typically, this package includes 2 coats of wall paint and 1 coat on the trim and ceiling on the interior and 2 coats on the body and 1 coat on the trim on the exterior.
What Finishes Should I Chose?
Flat: is the least reflective finish and provides excellent depth of color. Its great choice for hiding surface imperfections on walls, ceilings, and siding.
Matte: is more reflective than flat and is also ideal for minimizing surface imperfections, while providing a durable finish.
Eggshell: for interiors, imparts a softly polished glow and easy to clean surface. It is prefect for busy areas such as kitchens, dining rooms, and family rooms.
Satin: for exteriors, is a slight gloss finish that can be easily cleaned and holds up better to the elements to a matte or flat finish.
Semi-Gloss: creates a smooth, highly reflective finish that is durable and withstands repeated cleanings. It is also used to highlight trim, doors, and window frames.
